Union County Day of Prayer Returns Nov. 19

Union County faith leaders and community members will gather next week for the annual Union County Day of Prayer, an interfaith event focused on peace, unity, and community support. The program takes place Wednesday, November 19 at 7 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, located at 108 Eastman Street in Cranford.

According to the press release, organizers describe the gathering as “a space where residents of all backgrounds can come together in a shared commitment to uphold the dignity of all people.”

This year’s program includes prayers for peace, music, and reflections led by representatives of multiple faith traditions. The event highlights several themes that will guide the evening including uplifting human dignity, singing and praying together, building community, and standing in solidarity with one another.
